Quick answer: Yes. Disney lists every 2026 date of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as sold out, and its ticket terms say tickets are nontransferable, nonrefundable and may not be resold. We checked Disney's official event page and ticket store on October 11 and 12, 2026, and both said sold out. The good news is that Orlando has plenty of Halloween fun for young kids that does not need a party ticket, and most of it is easier on naps and bedtimes than a 7 pm to midnight party anyway.
Below you will find the facts on the sell-out, what to do about tickets, why resale tickets are risky, and nine family-friendly Halloween plans you can still book this month.
Yes. Disney's official event page says "All 2026 event dates have sold out." The party is a separate-ticket event at Magic Kingdom from 7 pm to midnight on select nights between August 7 and October 31, 2026. As of October 12, the nights still ahead are all sold out too:
| Month | Remaining 2026 party nights | Status on Disney's site |
|---|---|---|
| October | 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29 and 31 | Sold out |
Party ticket holders can enter the park as early as 4 pm and do not need a separate park ticket or reservation. That is one reason the event sells out: it replaces a normal park day for many families.
Realistically, no. Disney's ticket store says all tickets for the event have been sold, and we did not find a waitlist, a transfer program or an official resale program on Disney's pages. If you want to keep trying, the only reliable place to check is Disney's own event page. We cannot promise that tickets will reappear, so build your trip around the alternatives below.
Disney's ticket terms describe party tickets as "nontransferable and nonrefundable" and say they "may not be resold." Tickets that have been altered are void. That means a ticket bought from a stranger, a social-media post or a marketplace may not be honored at the gate, and you cannot count on a refund from Disney. If you think you were scammed, you can report it to the Florida Attorney General's office at 1-866-9-NO-SCAM.

You do not need a party ticket to enjoy the Halloween season at Magic Kingdom. Disney's fall page lists seasonal decorations, including Main Street's fall foliage, and the Haunted Mansion. The parade, fireworks and trick-or-treat trails are party-only, so set expectations accordingly. Visit in the morning when it is cooler, take a midday break, and leave before the party crowd arrives for the evening.
The festival runs August 27 to November 21, 2026, and is included with EPCOT admission. Kids can add Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit, a scavenger hunt that runs through November 2 (the game board is $11.99 plus tax while supplies last, and all ages can play). It is a calm daytime option and an easy way to get a Halloween feel without a late night.
Disney lists Halloween entertainment at Disney Springs, including the ZomBeats Drummers, spooky stilt walkers and a roving pumpkin DJ. Performance times were not posted when we checked, so confirm them on the Disney fall page before you go.
This is the best match for toddlers and preschoolers. It runs on select daytime dates through November 1, is included with park admission, and has a trick-or-treat trail with 12 candy stations (you buy a reusable bag), the Sesame Street Halloween Parade and, new for 2026, a Hotel Transylvania meet-and-greet. Read the details in our Halloween in Orlando with kids guide and in SeaWorld's event page.
Brick or Treat is built for ages 2 to 12 and is included with admission, with candy stations from 2 to 7 pm and a Monster Skytacular drone show at 8 pm on select Saturdays, including October 31. Costumes are welcome, but full-face masks and prop weapons are not.
Gatorland's event is included with admission on October 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25 (10 am to 5 pm), with a children's costume parade at 1:30 pm on weekends. It ends before Halloween weekend, so it fits trips that overlap those weekends.
Our full list of free and low-cost events is in the Halloween in Orlando with kids guide.
Southern Hill Farms in Clermont (open September 26 to November 22), Hastings Ranch & Farm in St. Cloud and Green Meadows Petting Farm in Kissimmee (pumpkin picking through November 8, $18 per person for ages 2 and up) all work for little kids. Go early, bring water and wear closed-toe shoes.
For children under four, this is often the best Halloween of all: you set the scare level, the sugar and the bedtime. Honest Sherpa rents Halloween decorations for vacation homes, and our guide to decorating a vacation rental for Halloween walks through a porch, pool-deck and party-table setup. For a movie night, Honest Sherpa also rents a theater popcorn machine and a projector with a 150-inch screen.
Disney lists the following for 2026: the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show, the Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks hosted by Jack Skellington, Mickey's Boo-To-You Parade, trick-or-treat trails, and two new shows, "A Masquerade with Stitch" in Tomorrowland and "Spirited Swashbucklers" in Adventureland. A teal bag is available for guests with food allergies. If a specific show is what you wanted, there is no true substitute, but the daytime and free options above cover the trick-or-treating and costume fun.
That depends on your child. In our view, a party that runs 7 pm to midnight is a lot for a child under four, because it is past most bedtimes and the crowds are heavy. Children four and older who can handle a late night tend to enjoy the trick-or-treat trails and parade the most. If your child still naps, a daytime event followed by a calm evening usually makes for a happier trip.
If you head to a Disney park during the day, remember that guests 14 and older may not wear costumes, and children's masks may not cover the whole face or block their vision. At the party, the rules relax: guests 13 and under may wear costumes and some masks, and older guests may wear family-friendly costumes without masks, props that look like weapons or anything that drags on the ground. SeaWorld bans masks and hoods for guests 13 and older, and LEGOLAND does not allow full-face masks or prop weapons.
Disney had not announced 2027 party dates when we checked. When they are released, buy as soon as tickets go on sale, because this year's event sold out for every night. Subscribe to Disney's official announcements and do not rely on rumor sites for dates and prices.
Will Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party sell out in 2026? It already has. Disney lists every 2026 date as sold out.
Can I still get tickets to the party? Disney's ticket store says all tickets have been sold, and we did not find an official waitlist or transfer program. Check Disney's own page, and treat offers from other sellers carefully.
What dates are sold out? All of them: every night from August 7 through October 31, 2026.
Are Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets for 2026 still available? No, not from Disney.
Can I resell or transfer my ticket? Disney's terms say party tickets are nontransferable, nonrefundable and may not be resold.
What age is the party best for? Disney does not set an age range. We find it works best for kids four and older who can stay up late.
What can we do instead of the party? Visit Magic Kingdom or EPCOT by day, take a toddler to SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular, try LEGOLAND's Brick or Treat, go to a free community trunk-or-treat, or host your own party at your rental.
Do people dress up for the party? Yes. Guests 13 and under can wear costumes and some masks; older guests can wear family-friendly costumes without masks.
